Detecting the Institutional Mediation of Push–Pull Factors on International Students’ Satisfaction during the COVID-19 Pandemic

In this study, we designed a structural model to determine the relationships among push–pull factors, institutional situations, and satisfaction during COVID-19 pandemic. The 17 selected indicators fell under five domains, namely push pull leadership, international strategies, satisfaction. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used verify assumptions of model. Based on 1005 degree-seeking students’ views, study found that factors may coincidentally exist, their functions can be modified by situations. findings suggested will, through impact satisfaction, while will not. Moreover, detection mediation provide useful information for specific institutes develop future recruiting or retaining strategies. These enriched our knowledge field higher education sustainable development. For studies, design interpret phenomena global student mobility in settings.
